BICYCLE TOURING IN MALAYSIA & THAILAND
An international bicycle ride - you'll need your passport for this one!
We take the super-scenic route northward to join the 2 most historically significant islands in the Malacca Straits by road.
5 stages that explore the cultural transition between the rich global melting-pot of flavours in the Malaysian island of Penang, and the pungent, spicy authenticity of Thai culture and cuisine in Phuket.
650 kilometers of road separate the 2, and along the way we rub shoulders with the true cultures of Southeast Asia; raw and unfiltered.
This is a good ride for the average weekend rider, who may balk at some of our highland challenges, as there are few major hills on the way - the exception is one short, sharp climb on day 2 bringing us to the Thai border. The only point at which the elevation exceeds 100 meters!
